A man recently said that men like women natural. That men don’t think we need makeup, fake lashes and lipstick. That we have a low self esteem for wearing it.
The truth is it’s a process. We go thru things. Some days we can be plane and other days a little self care goes a long way to stay in touch with our femininely. Adulting is so complicated.

Where are the men who can appreciate the effort it takes to be a woman. One who doesn’t accuse her of letting herself go or punishing her for gaining a few pounds after childbirth or accuse her of changing because she doesn’t always have the energy to sex you up every night.
As you complain about not having a natural woman at the same time eye fucking the top model understand this.
We live life in stages. We develop each and every version of ourselves over time and we don’t always feel as beautiful on the outside as we do inside even if our beauty can also be found in our laughter and our thoughts. In our character and our commitments. Although We can’t be a top model everyday we can borrow that energy from time to time. We parent, lead, follow, sweat, cheer, encourage, fight and get dirty with the grind of a normal day without complaint. So if we doll ourselves up with a little extra, it’s to remind ourselves of versions we don’t display every day. We remind ourselves that we are unique, beautiful and amazing and we need to embrace that part so we don’t forget. Self esteem, as we develop it; is ours and we call it self because its not yours nor is it called judgement esteem. I personally love every aspect of my beauty raw or accented. My age, awareness and style continue to change. If a man cant find the beauty in that perhaps it is he who is not in step with her. Maybe he just doesn’t try to understand her path nor the aspects of expression within her divine experience.
There is no need to keep our head down or coward or shy away from the attention we receive just to keep a man’s ego safe. Our lives wont stop based on his version of who he might think we should be for him . So stop asking. Living our truth is painted in many colors and we weir them all for ourselves.
